Scope

This audit captures the final consolidation pass for the session work before rebasing and integrating it onto the current origin/master.

The consolidated scope includes:

  • the hushwheel multi-file fixture branch delta
  • the retrieval-evaluation workflow and its CLI, Makefile, notebook, and test surfaces
  • the maintained repository file inventories through FILES.md and FILES.csv
  • the bilingual exploratorium translation document, manifest, skill, and publication wiring
  • the file-summary freshness fix that makes FILES.csv use deterministic \n line endings
  • the publication rebuilds for the main article, banner, and exploratorium PDF

Notes

  • The file-summary freshness bug was real: render_csv() emitted \r\n, while check_outputs() compared against text normalized to \n. This turn fixes the generator to emit deterministic \n line endings so a freshly generated FILES.csv no longer reports as stale.
  • The exploratorium publication path is now using the robust escaped bilingual renderer and a LuaLaTeX-safe main document without the failing babel Russian option from the earlier draft.
  • This audit is intentionally newer than the prior zz-* notes so it can serve as the health baseline after the final master consolidation and push.
